one inch scar under my chin where i took a knee playing basketball. I had set up to take a charge...and got it. The guy jumped and kneed me in the face. He hit me so hard that not only did it split my chin open, but I chipped a tooth from the impact.

In all seriousness, i have a few good ones.

I have a nice one on the back of my head, from when my neighbor threw a rock at my head...

I have VARIOUS ones all over my hands and knuckles.... you'll have that...

I have a 3rd degree burn scar on the inside of my left forearm...

I have a 5incher across my chest from a john deere accident....
-- I'll explain. One summer, i was cutting grass at work on this POS john deere. This thing required you to push BOTH BRAKE PEDALS to stop. left alone wouldn't do it, neither would right alone. I dont know if it was broken, or the R&D team at JD were smoking crack, but i digress. Anyways, there is a sign in the front tree lawn. a round steel pole going up 4ft or so, then a big sign on it. The type that have lights between two plastic sheets, on a metal frame...

Anyhow, i have to get the grass under the sign, right? My plan was to drive under slowly so i was facing the sign, and the blades were under me, cutting the grass, then i'd stop, reverse, and get out, right?

Well, i get under, go to stop, and didnt push both pedals. the tractor kept going, and i was dragged under the sign, where a screw was conveniently protruding though the bottom of the metal frame. Dragged me thru, and left me on my dairyairy under the sign with a ripped shirt, and a bloody gash. I was scared brainless too.

We later went and measured. There was ONE INCH clearance between the top of the seat on the mower, and the bottom of the sign. I was put through that thing like a wringer washer.

I also have a huge one on the back of my right knee. I had broken my leg, and was in a full leg cast for 10 weeks. Those things itch, and i was using something to stick down there and itch it, right? I manged to push all the wadding down to the backside of my knee. IT rubbed and rubbed and rubbed, and festered down there. I was wondering why it itched so bad, its because it was trying to heal a open sore. When they cut my cast off, the gauze had healed into the wound slightly, it smelled terrible, was infected, and they had to cut the wadding out of my leg.

        -the end.

Most of my scars are from skateboarding or bmx. I'll post the best of each.

          BMX:
Riding home from school there was a huge hill. I decided not to use my brakes. There was some sand at the bottom of it and of course I slipped out and fell. Gashed open my right elbow pretty much to the bone. I tried to walk home and ended up just falling over a few feet from where it had happened. The best part of it is that this all happened at a very busy intersection where two schools' traffic combined and nobody stopped to help even though I was pretty bloody. It was one of my neighborhood friend's mom that stopped to help. 5 stiches.

          Skateboarding:
This was a year or two after my bike crash. Again, I decided to go down a hill as fast as I could. I was going about 35mph. I even waved to a passing car which wasn't going all that much faster than me (speed limit was 35 and everyone would go about 40 or so down that hill). I got uncontrollable wabble (death wabble) and tried to stop myself. Slipped off my board and just tumbled end over end. Nothing major but I scrapped up my right arm again pretty bad, my entire back and shoulders, right hip and left forearm. You can still see my shoulder, hip, elbow and forearm scars today.

I have more, but those are the two most memorable. Nothing really interesting like going down a slide and having a rusty nail rip through me. I have had a nail through my foot however.

I've broken a few things too.

These two came from a spat I got into with my Bridgeport about a month ago. Working on some sheet steel and it hung up on the end mill. Pulled it out of the vise and swung it around like a damned saw blade. Hit me on the right forearm and abdomen and made a couple of pretty good cuts. The one on my gullet is about 12 inches long. The last 5-6" took 15 stitches to close. On the up side, I think it cut a nerve in the deepest part of the cut, so I basically didn't have any pain to deal with. It stung a little while it was open and bleeding, but after they sewed it up I didn't really feel anything. I had to be careful though, 'cause I could tear out a stitch by accident and not really feel it. Took it about two weeks to knit back closed, I pulled the stitches out of this one Monday before last:

Here's the one on my elbow, it wasn't deep enough to need stitches:

This one on my wrist is from an Angle Grinder. Trying to grind one handed up inside a cage of tubing that supported some of the suspension on the race car. The grinder caught an edge and yanked itself out of my hand, coming to rest with the edge of the wheel perpendicular to my wrist there, and it just ground its way in as it stopped. It was spinning so fast that it cauterized the wound, so even though it was about 1/2" deep, it didn't bleed at all. It was really cool looking, for about 10 mins, then it started to hurt like a mother:

And last, three on the inside bends of three fingers on my right hand. I was changing a bent shock on the race car the day after a fairly bad crash. The shock in question had a huge hook like bur sticking out of it where it got mashed, and I didn't see it. The shock slipped in my hand (covered in oil that leaked from the inside), and split those three fingers right down to the bone. It was so deep it didn't bleed for a while, and I could see the tendons moving when I wiggled my fingers. It was creepy as hell, hurt like a mad bastard too. I ran three races that season with those fingers cut that badly. I was too stupid to get stitches, because I knew they wouldn't let me race if they saw how bad the cuts were:

They don't look too bad now, that was about six or eight years ago.

Well most of them are from surgeries. so they are not like real scars. Only have a couple real scars. Three on my head. Head butting contest gone wrong, and two accidents.

But theres like 30+ on my leg. No piccies..
