We had ear plugs. We had a designated shooting lane with a safe back drop. Eye protection... ya got me there. I was wearing sunglasses, for what it's worth.

tbizzle0 - hahaha yep, that is a bayonet. We shot for a while first with it folded in, then with it extended to see how it changed the balance. I don't know squat about guns, so I couldn't tell you what model the thing is. I'll get back to you after I talk to my buddy.

All is well then. Eye protection is always a good idea (I posted a pic a while back of an M855 penetrator whizzing back by a shooter after a richochet, but a good pair of sunglasses works pretty well).
