AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
I stopped collecting Calvin/Hobbes about 5 years ago, after I had everyone I could find in a bookstore, and then some "limited edition" one I got...
Probably in the neighborhood of 20..
This complete collection people are speaking of, is it limited or anything? I'd like to get it, but being in Germany I doubt I could get it in the first place, let alone pay those airline fee's for how much it apparently weighs...
*saw the comic a year or two ago, felt sad, then deemed it as fake, then still found it sad*
When we were younger, and actually had snow, who tried to re-create half of Calvins snowmen? Never looked good but was always fun attempting, then failing 2 hours later.....
"The Complete Calvin and Hobbes" is not a limited collection. It is a set of 3 hard-bound books that contains every comic that appeared daily for the 10 years that Bill Watterson drew the strip.
If you read his introduction, Watterson gives the reasons why he quit drawing the strip--it's a very, very good read.
Now for something sad...but really funny!
