i havent used it yet, but i got my girlfriend a lightscribe dvd burner for christmas, and I'm 99% sure that you can. I know thats not really any help, but just an encouragement to keep trying. -
I think I figured it out. My laptop didnt come with the full version of the labeling program. It came with Sonic Express Labler which will run a lightscribe drive, but its not the actual software. BLAST!AO #765

I use the software that came with the Lightscribe DVD - my wife uses it for her photography buisiness to personalize all of her CDs and DVDs
