I would never leave the bay area unless I really had to. No place better to live. couple hours from tahoe, little drive to S.F. (coolest city in the U.S.) got the best music, and countless other reasons why the bay is the best.

Although I've never been to Hawaii yet, I've heard from many people how it's like living there. I would love to be able to retire in Hawaii. As to where I'd like to live now, I think I'm happy living in So. Cal...specifically, San Diego. I don't care what part of Cali you're in, the weather down here is the best year round. As for cost of living in Cali...well, I agree, that could be better.

But for me, Cali is best as you can do anything, especially if you're an outdoors type person. Not too far from trails, beaches, mountain resorts, city life, etc.

I did have the chance to visit Texas last Nov. I had a lot of fun while I was there. The people I met were nice, hanging out in downtown Houston was fun, the houses are nice out there...but I heard the weather in houston can get rough. I did experience TX rain. I swear, if it rained like that here in Cali, every hwy will be jammed up! But if I had to move there to work, I don't think I would mind much.

i lived in chicago for 9 years before moving to chandler in 2001.talk about a change of scenery.this place is the complete opposite.ive missed chicago for thepast 3 years, but when i went to visit this summer i realized what i really missed is the people and the memories.
ill never be able to go fishing in lake michigan with my dad.
ill never be able to go to downtown for the christmas tree gathering.
ill never ba able to see all those amazing parades we had.
no more navy pier or tastes of chicago.
no more snowball fights or sledding.

its a great place for for pople to grow up and even better when your over 21.its got a great nightlife.ill be heding back there this summer to help my cousins remodel because theyre moving down here as well.but its no the same after going back.i dont live there os i feel weird being there.i know the city like the back of my a hand but not by addresses.

wow reading back over what i just typed was pretty emotional lol.but longstory short.

i would have a penthouse in downtown chicago and a ranch here in az.but short of being a millionaire that will never happen.

I've lived in a place near Toronto Canada, frequently spend time in Texas (Up to two months at a time) and presently in Germany...

My wee list of places I'd like to try out.
              Edmonton (Hear Jobs are booming...)
Small place in Texas (Alot of family, and damn Mexican food is good)
Switzerland (Alps, and high taxes. Mmmm...)

But honestly I think I'll just end up around where I grew up in Toronto, it's just awesome living in Canada...

Lived in Hawaii for 18 years---planning on moving back to my home state of Connecticut soon.

Hawaii is okay but New England is where I'd most like to live.

I would rather be Keystone, Colorado, or anywhere in Colorado for that matter. Skiing and Snowmobiling in the winter. 4 wheeling, fly fishing, and white water rafting in the summer. The scenary is nice, too.

I'd say somewhere out more in the wild..not too much, but enough so I can say, walk to a local grocery store.. Without running a high risk of dieing on the road...Where I live now is alright though...an hour or two's drive, you're at the bay/coast, an hour or twos drive in the opposite direction and you're in the mountains. Pretty nice. Colorado would be cool I think, and maybe alaska, just because it seems like a cool place to go(and I know some people that have gone/been ststioned there, and it sounds pretty amazing).

Mississipi. The average IG is 85 which means I could go down there and give them all the miracle of fire. THEY WOULD ALL PRAISE ME AS A GOD.

I would love to go back to Phoenix or Scottsdale Arizona. I might even settle for Flagstaff

                                Scottsdale:
                                Always sunny

                                Cars look like new forever
Mountins/Snow just a days drive north for skiing.
It's socially acceptable to have a front lawn full of rocks and cactii
Shipping to/from Luke will be cheaper
I love every bit of it.
However for my horses sake somewhere with milder winters may be nice. But thats what an hours drive north into the mountains are for.

I have been just about everywhere... and Arizona is home, I have never seen somewhere with such diverse areas so close to eachother. Maybe a house up int he mountains is in my future but thats about it.

This is about a 5 mile hike from a friends cabin we stay at every year. I dont think there is somewhere I would rather be.
