computer trouble-- gmail and myspace.

for some reason, i cant log onto myspace or gmail. the 2 things besides AO my computer is for. i dont know what to do about it, either. obviously my connection is good, im on the computer right now. i can get to www.google.com and www.myspace.com, but i cant login from there...

Did you try clearing your cookies? I don't know if that would actually help anything, but it's worth a try.

thats strange..are you sure you not logged in already?

can you see the login screens and it just wont let you type in them or you can't access them period?

ive already tried deleting the cookies... i know its the computer or my internet because i can log on on another computer

i have no clue what a host file is.

sometimes people like to edit the host files with sites ip's that they visit alot so that when the go to the site it doesnt have to look it up on the DNS server and so its quicker to go to the site. However, sometimes the IP addresses change and you get blocked from going to that site.

try uninstalling and reinstalling browser? update?

turns out that windowns isint valid for some reason, dell is sending me a CD to reinstall it.

happened to me with my sony computer, microsoft can suck it. install linux.
