Rare primitive shark captured on film

A species of shark rarely seen alive because its natural habitat is 600 metres (2,000 ft) or more under the sea was captured on film by staff at a Japanese marine park this week

I first read this on another fourm I'm apart of.
That sucker looks mean, I'd hate to run into one.
Too bad they killed it in captivity.

Wow!! Never seen anything like that before. It's fascinating to know there are more to discover about our own world. Heck, we probably know more about space than we do underwater! It's shots like these that makes me wonder what kind of world it is down in the depths of the sea.

                      That vs. the Goblin Shark

                      Which would win?

What's the next Indiana Jones going to be about anyways?

Is there a video of this shark in action, or is it just a picture?
