Wow, I can't beleive they cancelled that many bowls

Being an ND fan first, and a Big Ten fan second I just can't beleive how many bowl games they didn't play this year. I mean, no Sugar Bowl, no Rose Bowl, no BCS Championship Bowl? I knew the bowl schedule, and I have absolutely no recollection of any of those events...

Funny, surprised the BCS did that...

Wow I can't believe I spent time finding this:

    2006

    Rose: USC vs. Michigan
    Sugar: Notre Dame vs. LSU
    Orange: Louisville vs. Wake Forest
    Fiesta: Oklahoma vs. Boise State

National Championship: Florida vs Ohio State

The Boise State game was one of the BEST games of football I've ever watched. Ever.

I know nothing about college football. My bro is a serious sports nut and always has a game on. He just so happened to watching that game so I sat and watched it. It was just... amazing.

That was because you spent most of your time with your head in the couch crying. Sorry to say it, but I told you the SEC was the Greatest.

Bowl games were forever ruined when the NCAA screwed with playing them all on Jan 1st. I remember having great New Years day parties with enough TV's to show every game for the 15 or so hours they were broadcast. It was an event like the Super Bowl. Now I just don't care unless my team is playing.
