Metal Instrumentals: got any good ones?

    Hey guys,

I'm looking to make a CD full of JUST heavy metal instrumentals. Here's what I've got on my list so far:

    Iced Earth: 1776
In Flames: Dialog with the Stars
    Metallica: Call of Ktulu
    Metallica: Orion
Metallica: To live is to Die

You can see what I'm looking for by the songs on my list so far. I'm wanting to fill an ENTIRE 70 Min. CD-R with this stuff (Not in Mp3 Format tho )

I've tried searching for "Instrumental" on Morpheus and the such, but all I get is Rap "Dr Dre and his home-dogs featuring Eminem and that other fat rapper dude"

    What do you rockers got?

    its old but...

If you can find it, look up "The Ultra-Violence" by the band Death Angel. Its a 10 minute thrash metal intrumental from the early 90's.

Twisted into Form - Forbidden there is one.
Sepultura has a cool acoustic on one of their discs.
A lot of Satriani's stuff is instrumental.
Scatterbrain did a Mozart (or was it Beethoven?) song on one of theirs.

I'm at work, not in front of my disc collection - but I know I can fill that disc up from bands between 83-87 alone....

        Good thread though!

Check out James Murphy. He has 2 solo album out and many of the songs are metal instrumental. He rips on the guitar. Great stuff. http://www.msanthrope.com/jamesmurphy/

ok, here's an 'up' after like 3 weeks

anyway, I didn't really get any specific song titles, and I looked for "The Ultra-Violence" and couldn't really find it. i have it downloading from the 1 person who has it

anyway, more suggestions would be cool.

              please give song/artist names.

              thanks again p33pz

Iron Butterfly - In a gadda davida

Haven't heard the song in a few years, but if I remember right there is like a 10 min instrumental
