Nobodoy knew Anderson Silva either. But after his 1st fight in the UFC against Chris Leben, they gave him a title shot against Franklin. And now he is the champ.

Yup, thats right. I thought so but wasn't 100%. I wonder why they are even messing around with gonzaga/CC then? Maybe he shoulda got his title shot like Silva.

Im sure the Cro Cop match-ups were negotiated. Cro Cop and Rampage(Jackson) 2-fight contracts were purchased by UFC when the WEC went under. Rumor is, Cro Cop isnt happy fighting in the UFC. Remember, he came out the Pride song in his first fight.

One would think he should be at least a little happy - ufc gotta be puttin more money in his pocket than what he was getting before. I'm sure they would have had to give him a pretty good deal to come to the ufc - especially if he dosent care for it.

Pissed at myself for not getting the fight, but...

I'm stoked that Randy won. I hate watching Silvia fight. All he ever does if the opponent is any good is stall. I hate his lazy jabs, and his weak ground game. He has to be the most boring fighter I've ever watched.

Say what you will about Tito, but he is a showman. Sometimes too over the top, but still a great fighter. Chuck is just too much for most men. EVERY punch is a knock-out shot! I'm behind Tito, but I don;t think he has a shot at the title until Chuck gives up the belt. Tito just can't beat Chuck.

Have you guys heard of a female MMA fighter named Gina Carano?? She's got to be the hottest female fighter out there!
