The problem with that is that Supes was a Kryptonian, and had all this other-worldly technology to bring him back, and a whole lot of other circumstances that helped (like the Kryptonite ray beam that shot through the other guy (Eradicator?) to power Superman back up with his superpowers.)

Caps is a human, and got taken out by a snipers bullet. This helps to indoctrinate the youth of America into the "terrorism is bad" mindset by killing off one of their favorite characters, as well as making CNN and other headlines by killing off an iconic American superhero. Likely he won't be back.






(Oh, who am I kidding, we all know he will come back (like Superman), or a clone of him (like Spiderman), or a time travelling version, or somebody else who looks just like him (like Robin), or he's not really dead (like Colossus), or some other circumstances. Poo on Marvel for killing him off in the first place though. )

But isnt this like the third captain america.. One died in WW2 and another turned into Agent or something.. His clothing looked like captain americas but was grey instead of blue..

I think it was actually the original Captain America. The first one disappeared and was presumed dead, but made a comeback later.
