AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
Sorry for the poor quality, however, I will eventually update this thread when its a sunny NNY spring day. (whenever that is). Ive got a short list of modifications in my mind, nothing expensive, just a couple little things to compliment the already sexy appearance and drive... sway bars f/r, springs and a cat back exhaust. Probably gonna end there Im not much into import tuning, however I do like to enjoy the experience as much as possible.

dont bother with a CBE.. If you're going to do it save for the turbo back.
Oh yeah? I want to stick with Cobb tuning for that matter, I dont want a mix match of parts, I just want a simply tuned vehicle that isnt flashy but isnt plane jane.
What would you reccomend for turbo back exhaust? WRX specific forums are good, but nothing beats a topic like this on AO
when dealing with labor costs, just save up for the whole TBE... you'll get better performance out of it, since the pipes off the turbo leading to the cat are typically the most restrictive point in the system.
Have fun swapping transmissions, around here pretty much every modded WRX/STI is on its 2nd or 3rd...
Custom sub box being conceived, maximizes trunk space and uses a couple 10w1-2.4 subs to do the trick. Warrantied a brand new Total 4 channel from my truck, thats gonna be stuck in there for the mids and highs. As soon as summer comes around Ill work on the performance end. Currently there is a Camaro blocking our car lift, and until the massive snow banks melt, im not gettin my car on there to wrench on any thing below the door jam!

That is totally from asshats driving them. I personally know people who are pushing 320whp with 350wtq that are still on the stock with 80k plus miles on then. If you sidestep your clutch, you will destroy your trans in awd car!
