I suppose I'm going to have to get a boat too. Our neighborhood has our own dock, and we're on a river that ties right into several large lakes. They're just so damn pricey.

              Nice boat, btw.

I/O? I'd hate to be a skiier behind that one.

                Nice boat though.

Having a dock available would be great! Our boat slips range from the low $200 to the $300+ range a month for up to 30' vessels. You can buy slips for about $30-$40K also. That is why I have a trailer!

Nothing wrong with that! I wanted to get a 27'+ foot sailing cruiser but due to the docking situation mentioned above, I ha dto settle for something powered and towable.

Remember the 2 happiest times a boat owner has is when he buys his boat and when he sell his boat. I picked up a 24 ft Carver cuddy cabin last year. And now I am looking to pick up a brand new 19 or 21 foot bass boat. I am going to use the Carver with the family and the bass boat for me. Good luck with the boat

That is so true. I had a nice bass boat, used the hell out if it the first year, second year a lot less and it just got less from there.

Sweet boat! Me and my dad and his friend take out our jetski and his friends boat down in clear lake all the time. There are so many little inlets and things you can go to, which makes it one of my favorite places to boat. Be careful in the no wake zones, my dad got a ticket last year for going a wee bit fast, but knew someone in court and got it thrown out...
