Looks like I know where I am going on vacation this year!

    Nice boat.

I had boats all through my life up until the last 10 years or so. Grew up on them and in them. Sometimes I miss not having one. Until I remember the maintenance and work. It all is worth it if you use it a lot. A guy once said to me that owning a boat was about like flushing a $100 bill down the toilet. If you liked that feeling you will like owning a boat. Sometimes it gets like that I suppose. But when I was really into Bass fishing and went out every day practicaly it was certainly worth it. I think if I ever do own something again some day it will probably be something small and fishing oriented again. Something like a little Boston Whaler or a Carolina Skift center console. Maybe no more than 16 foot.

    Have fun and be safe.

Well our weather here is pretty nice and you can boat nearly all year round. Since we are right on the water also, we plan on being out every weekend in Clear Lake-Galveston Bay.

My buddy just bought a REALLY nice sailboat...

          ...for $100.

He's picking it up this weekend. Us being friends and all, I'm looking forward to some nice days spent out on Ol' Erie.

Yeah... It's kind of a dump, but it's getting better. It hasn't caught on fire in while, either, so they must be doing something right.

It's still alot of fun to cruise around.
