    Generation Kill

Oh man I'm liking this book a lot. i'm only on the 10th chapter or so but it has changed the way i view a lot of things. Mainly it has just made death seem more real like it can happen to me. I cant seem to fathom what it must have been like for the families in WWII or WWI just because of how many people died. Hell 18 deaths sounds like too much, I would hate to hear a couple thousand casualties in one battle.

Don't ever read up on the Civil War. By the way. Everyone dies. You don't have to embrace it, just accept that it will happen. Carpe Diem.
