Argumentative topics???

I have to write an argumentative paper, but I can't decide what to use as a topic, any ideas?
I've thought of three so far, which one?

Those topics don't really seem to be "argumentative" in the sense that you'd need to pick a side and defend. When you said argumentative topics, I immediately thought of something like:
Iraq
Gay marriage
Guns
Drugs
etc.

Oh man, this brings up memories. I had to do a final project just like this to graduate high school, so I elected to do it about ricers vs domestics. Teacher didnt say no when we turned our topics in for approval, so I assumed I was good to go. 3 weeks later I got up to give the speech, and got about 2 minutes into it before being told to sit down for being racist. That meant an F, which meant no graduation. Immediately thereafter, both me and my Japanese friend arguing the pro ricer side were escorted from the class for "verbally assaulting" the teacher. At least the Japanese guy graduated without having to do summer school.

Thats what I would pick anywhoo, to be honest the internet will never replace the book, it will accompany it, so it's not a really interesting issue persay.


p.s. Isn't gay marriage legal over in the U.S.? I was under the impression it was. It definatly is over here so I don't see the debating point there
