    your telling me..

i bought a phone specificaly because they had told me it played mp3's, however the workers couldnt tell me how to do it or what kind of memory, or where to buy it or how to transfer them.

come to findout the software they use blocks the use of the phones mp3 feature and basicly makes the memery card slot nothing but a reader to tell you how much memory is on the card.

          Click menu

          enter 0 seven times.

          Scroll down to music

          click...enable MP3

          your done.

          Worked on my vx8300

My E815 has played MP3s from the start...I just copied them from my computer onto the transflash card using copy/paste.

Verizon software does indeed suck. However, it does not make it impossible to work around.

            Nice.

Verizon is poison for anyone that wants to use their phone as it's intended.

                1. ebay
                2. search for power coord to usb adapter for your phone.
                3. find freeware software to access your phone
                4. download Audacity or something of the sorts
                5. downsize mp3 to 64bit or less (above 32 though)
                6. use freeware program, access phone, add downsized song to phone
                7. done

on my lg vx8000 i used bitpim with no problems. although i THINK the latest software updates from verizon puts a damper on things. i do know for sure any lg phone before the 8000 model WILL work
