it denpens on the phone. I don't think that verizon has a phone that has not had it's blue tooth crippled. Let's hear what phone you got.

btw most phones need a 30 second mp3 to be able to use it as a ring tone, some need to be a certain frequenzy too yet. If you don't have the software to edit mp3s you can get Audacity. It's open source, no warez

mango, from what i get from motorola's website, there isn't an exteral connector such as an USB connector. the only way i can think of is to try usb from the computer, or you'd have to download it through whatever system verizon has. i have u.s. cellular for my slvr, and it's frankly way to expensive to download a song i already have for a ringtone, so i just hack up the songs i have to use.

as bornl33t says, you would have to edit the file size down more than likely, and shorten it up. if verizon turns off functions in the phone, you can ask for them to unlock the phone and i would think the bluetooth back on. hopefully you can get it working.

I usually keep my phone on vibrate for at school and whatnot, but otherwise I used the standard Nextel ringtone on my Motorola i580... I have an uplink cable for it but its not compatible with the i580 for some reason... otherwise I would have a music ringtone on there... I am NOT going to pay money to get different ringtones on my phone though
