either my whammy bar works half the time, or you have to be moving the whammy bar right as you hit the note. either way its super annoying. i think im going to contact someone about this....

Sweet!! I'm a guitar hero addict. How does it compare to the PS2 version? There are a few new songs right?

You can put your own songs on the PS2 version. It's a pain in the butt though. Hopefully it's easier to do on the 360.

checked this morning, so far there are NO new songs on the market place. -- it does cost REAL money to download new songs from what i understand. not sure on price but i would assume it would be like buying a ringtone or something similar i couldnt imagine a new song to cost more then a buck or 2

how ever the 10 new songs are very nice and the Pearl Jam song on expert is ... rough

other then that, im still having issues with my whammy bar. im contacting redoctane or who ever im suppose to and ask them about it otherwise back to wally world

I've been reading about people having trouble with the wammy bars. I've heard some people just took the guitar back and exchanged it for one that works.

well, basically, you rip guitar hero 2 to your computer, modify the game, then burn it to a dvd and play the new songs. You can make your own songs, which I haven't tried yet, or you can download other peoples songs. You'll need the MP3 of the song, and a midi file, which is essentially the note chart that someone has made for it. Then you use a couple of free programs to replace/modify the game files with the new songs, burn to dvd then your good to go.

They have some walkthroughs, links to a bunch of midi files, and all the free programs at the scorehero forums, http://www.scorehero.com/forum/ . You have to sign up to see the custom songs section.

This requires you to have a way to play burned games on the PS2 though. Easiest way is to order a boot disc, which is like 10 bucks. Then use a couple pieces of tape to trick your PS2 into thinking the cover is closed.
