so whats your point. i like the game and looks better on my lcd tv than my dell monitor cause i can see it better. playing a game on a 19" vs a 32" is a big differance.

His point is sell one of your video cards and buy a real monitor. The Dell 24" LCDs are good for gaming and they are affordable.

Actually, I have both a Dell and Apple 30" and the Apple LCD panel utilizes a pure, direct signal technology. It displays a "green dot" error when connected to a Windoze computer. You get thousands of green dots on the screen. The Dell monitor utilizes a Genesis processor for connection to Windoze PC's.

I love when people say "I LOVE GAMING ON MY HIGH RES LCD TV!" ohhh how that makes me laugh.

I know EXACTLY what you mean. Is it sad that I didn't even need to look up the monitor to know exactly what you were talking about. That sucker is legendary.

Do you have one of those Blaze? If so, can I sexor it.

I bought a cheapo rebadged Viewsonic that was "rumored" to have the same CRT tube at the FW900. Needless to say, it did not. My sledgehammer delt it a swift death. No seriously, I took it out back and sledgehammered it after it died.

I have a Mitsu CRT flat screen sitting downstairs in my garage. Their version of the FW900.

My brother has an extra FW900 sitting at home. a 24" CRT is great, till it gets out of convergence. I'm not a big CRT fan these days. LCDs have so many advantages. I suspect that with LCD backlit ones we will see a good color space out of them finally.

Tell your brother I'd pay for shipping + a bit more if he doesn't want it

Yes I do have one :P

Grabbed one local... off craigslist... at 3 am...

the picture makes it look like crap, but everyone knows it's impossible to take decent pictures of CRTs

                EDIT: I just noticed I'm playing 2142 at 1920 x 1200 widescreen... hahaha...

I really wasn't that impressed with BF2142 honestly. Sure, its a good game but it seems to be poorly optimized, a MEGA resource hog (if you don't have 2GB+ of RAM, prepare to sacrifice) and lets not even talk about the spyware included. I was really pissed when I found out I couldn't install it on my brother's PC so we could play on the LAN. You have to buy a completely seperate copy.

No thanks. I'll stick to TQ and I'm awaiting UT 2007.

The included adware is not spyware. It does nothing outside the game.

Adware/spyware/malware, they're all seperate with different intentions and results when they're infecting your computer. I just said "spyware" since its the most commonly used term.

And who the hell wants adware on their computer?

My setup. The computer setup has changed, this is an old photo. It's now on a workbench with dual radiators and watercooled 8800GTX's. Dell 30" for gaming, MacPro OctoCore on left (I upgraded it myself) with 30".

Two rads, twin pumps. A modified DCC Liang pump and an Ehiem with adjustable speed and a 10 foot head!!!

A DD Extreme III Pro 4 x 120mm rad, etc. All the goodies. The watercool setup alone ran about 1k

                          I got a $24 AC Freezer 64 Pro

Ran mid 20*'s idle w/o Overclock... not bad for X2 4200... runs like 30's idle, 40 load on 2.6ghz vs. 2.2

Those G80's run smoking hot don't they? I'm about to put my 7800GTX under water as well.

YES! On Air, the G80's were running up to 80*C under full load. Now on water with their own loop, Idle around 35*C load 45*C

                              Awesome.

Is it like anti-IDE software (I don't play very many computer games) because that's commonly considered malware? Usually because some of the anti-hack "malwares" scan over programs etc. anti-virus registers it as a threat. But I on't know, I've never dealt with computer games on a disk that work. (I got a gliched up Quake 4 disk and determined that the head-ache of jumping through 4 installation disks just for the blue screen of death wasn't worth it.)
