bout 2k the max. if its a smoking deal. But so far the median range is abouy 1500 to 1600. It would nice if i could get a lowball price, and spend the rest on some nice boots and a jacket.

your in cali, (according to your info) i would also look into Suzuki GSX 600's. sure it will probably be a tad much for a beginner bike. BUT! gixxers are a dime a dozen and can usually be found in the 2-3 grand range. i know its a tad more then you want to spend. but it would be well worth it. also, if you can find a bike thats been dropped (not crashed... but dropped) you can usually get them alot cheaper.

                      Your Welcome!

As a motorcycle enthusiust for over 40 years I will always try to keep the activity strong and safe.

If I see any others I will let you know.

FYI - I did not see any Suzuki SV 650s for under $3500.00

If I remember correctly I used a shipping company called Foward Air. Here is their website.

In regards to shipping bikes: I used these guys to ship my bike from Maine to Washington State. http://www.haulbikes.com/ It took a little longer than I wanted, but it was really easy. And I think the weather played a huge factor in the time thing. They just come pick the bike up at your house (if it's accessible to an 18 wheeler). No scratches on the bike or anything. Cost me about $650. I didn't do much research. They were recommended to me by a few different people. And I didn't plan ahead either.
