The Koenigsegg isn't German, it Swedish. Don't remember the exact specs on it, but the I know the Bugatti is supposed to top out at 253mph. The Corvette Sledgehammer (fastest street legal but not production car) will one up it at 254.74mph . God bless American engineering

My bad, the spelling has always looked German to me. I didn't know they used the umlaut in Swedish.

I have a video somewhere of the McClaren F1 topping out at 284mph, so I don't know if those numbers are right.

Also, European > American any day.

The Corvette Sledgehammer is a 1987 vette modified by Reeves Callaway of Callaway Customs. 880 horses, twin turbo, driven to a top speed of 254.76 (correction from earlier post) by John Liggenfelter (sp?) in 1988.
