That whole thing is a bunch of bull crap. DARPAs reasearch techniques are akin to having 500 monkeys bash on typewriters until they accidentally write a book. They throw 500 random ideas out there that sound cool, get billions of dollars of funding, and sooner or later one or two of the ideas they came up with actually become feasible. Bottom line is the future soldier will be nothing like that concept.
