          2nd that.
Military can shell out $2000 for this.
I saw this guy a long time ago and wondered what happened to him. I think it needs some refining, but its good.

yeah i remember seeing his first bear suit on dateline or 20/20 back when i was still in middle school or somthing, i remember the guy wearing it and someone trying to hack him up with a machetie(sp?) and him getting hit by a car with it on, and some other stuff.

didn't the orginal suit get reposessed by a bank or somthing too?

It seems like he just went and brought a bunch of stuff from a drug store and glued it onto a cool looking suit. Im sure the government will want to stock up on toy cars for the remote sensors...

                Regardless, its still pretty cool

                  First off, it's $2000 canadian.
Second, it's $2000 to "fit it to a soldier." He doesn't mention what the suit itself costs. I would imagine quite a bit more.
you know you play this game too much when the neighbors stop fixing their broken windows...

Ok, he can hold a pistol, what about a rifle?
Is it difficult to get in and out of a vehicle?
How difficult is it to get the suit off a wounded person who may be unconscious? This is vital because no medical treatment can be given until it's off. If it can't be removed quickly and easialy you would have a lot of people bleeding to death who might have otherwise survived.
It's 50lbs plus a weapon, ammo, water, radio, and other gear, it adds up quick.
I bet by the nature of the suit you get tired quickly.
How hot does it get in the body of the suit in a 100 degree desert?
