Ok, I was working a sound gig that night, but the club happend to have it on their tv. Great I thought. I was too busy to catch all the fights, snippets here and there and some of the AA fight. I had everythig dialed in when the Gonzaga/Cro Cop fight started so I was all ready to see Gonz get his butt handed to him.

HOly cow! Gonz came out and was taking no crap, and pushing CC hard as the fight went on. CC wasn't looking too sharp at all from the get go (I thought). He was eating some nice elbows when a bad stand up (my opinion) happened. I think "Jeez, this favors CC - I was kinda pissed - I thought Gonz had total control on the ground.

Then....BOOM!!! OMG. That was......unbelieveable. Well, at least improbable.

Seriously...for a second there I thought Cro Cop was dead. That was one vicious KO.


Ummm, I think Randy might have all he can handle if Gonz brings his "A" game for the title fight.....

He's "the natural".. he'll be fine.. lol. I am a fan of Coulture, but was worried with his decision to fight Sylvia for the same reason, yet he beat him down. The only problem is that Randy tends to not train as hard when he's on top.. he fights a lot harder as the underdog, which is why he's lost and re-gained titles so often. Should be a fun fight though.

I still can't get over the CroCop knockout. That kick was downright VICIOUS! Has anyone heard if he injured his leg or not? It may have just been the way he fell and the camera angle, but it looked like he could have done some serious damage to both his knee and ankle.

Read an interview yesterday that said CC feels fine , but his ankle and stuff are pretty sore. He dosen't think anything is broken, but will prolly get a [MRI] to see if there is any other damage.

I hope he dosent have any ligament damage, that was a pretty wierd angle his foot was pointing... Like, the wrong way.

yeah cro cop's foot was pointing 180 degrees in the wrong direction. thats what you get when you block for a body kick and get nailed in the side of the head.
