X-box 360 game suggestions

Getting an X-box 360, need some suggestions for cool games Older is fine as long as I can find them new and sealed on e-bay. I dont like buying used games

On my list so far

MLB 2007
Madden 2008 (when it comes out)
NCAA football 2007

need some action, adventure, strategy games too.

if you like basketball games i would suggest gettin nba 2k7 its only 40$ an its in my opinion the best bball game i've ever played. gears of war was a lot of fun and so was crackdown, also the new spiderman game is pretty fun.

If you like shooters, you can't go wrong with Gears of War or Rainbow Six: Vegas.
The Gears single-player campaign is a little short though, so if you don't have Live it's a little disappointing.

I really liked Lost Planet too (another shooter)

Some of the earlier games can be found dirt cheap now. Kameo is a really good adventure game. It looks somewhat childish, but it's fun and awesome graphics.

Burnout Revenge is also a great arcade-style racer which is a bit old but a lot of fun.

Guitar Hero 2 is a whole lotta fun, but a bit of an investment ($90 w/ controller)

Call of Duty 3 is always a blast.. I really like Tony Hawk Project 8 as well..

Rock Star Games Table Tennis is probably the best game for the console lol

id go with Rainbow Six Vegas. my favorite 360 game, GOW just never did anything for me.

also, forza 2 just came out today, you might wanna look at picking that up

Rainbow Six Vegas is a favorite of mine, so is Call of Duty 3. Crackdown is fun, if you just want to run around shooting people and playing the occasional mission. The Godfather is a good game for the price if you can get it for under $30. Over that its not worth it. If you want something to play and not think about much try Lego Star Wars. kind of childish but good one to just relax with. Gears of War is good but not my favorite.

If you like a stratgy game try Command And Conquer 3 Tiberium wars. Nice for log days by yourself. Gears of War is a good real good on Xbox Live. Its a shooter game. CrackDown is cool if you like a GTA style game only this time you play a cop and you can go right to the main guy if you want but good luck with that. Graw2 is good online. Lots of good games ouyt their. Just depends on what you like.

Satellite internet sucks for gaming - tried it. No DSL, at this point I have high speed through my cell phone, but thats not at all intended for gaming. You have to understand, my closest neighbor is over a 1/4 mile away.

Gears of War and Lost Planet are cool.

Crackdown is a blast, I don't see how it could ever get old. Sorta like GTA, except you are a "good" guy. You are a super-cop in a crime-ridden city, and they send you out to take on the gangs and crime bosses. They give you a bunch of guns and grenades, and civilian casualties are to be expected. Kill too many civilians and the police may start shooting you too, but running a few over in a car you just commandeered you can get away with. Yeah, you can commandeer cars. By ripping the door off and pulling the person out.

When your super-powers are fully charged up, you can run up to a bus, kick it, and watch it fly through the air and come down about a block away. Not to mention jump about 40 feet in the air. Its kinda like being a cross between the Incredible Hulk and War Machine.

ghost recon on the super hard setting will keep you busy for a while so will just about any other shooter ...

take you box somewhere where you can download some of the games from the arcade... lumines and poker are good time wasters....

oblivion is awesome ... the shivering isles expansion was fun ... trying the game with different characters and by joining the different factions will keep you buys for a long long time....

out of all of the games i'd say get oblivion ... that gets my vote out of all of the games that have come out on the 360 ...

i like fighters but haven't got DOA4 yet ...

you know what is going to suck???? is with no iternet for your 360 you cant get all the cool downloads for the games. like Crackdown for example
