I've only seen like 3 subarus in my life... must be a city thing.

What do you guys know about subarus. The good, the bad, lets hear it. I did a quick check and driving one will save me some money on insurance.
Bought my Subaru WRX wagon back in November, already put over 14k miles on it and LOVE it. They are very well built cars, but they say after about 80k miles the rattles start, have the strongest B pillar out of any car out there (jaws of life can't cut though it, they have to cut a V above it). decent gas mileage, dependable, great in bad weather, and AWD is hard to beat

The wagon was my choice for the simple fact I needed to be able to fit all my paintball gear PLUS my girlfriend in my car (she plays also).

What about the subaru legacy, They have great financing on the 07 leftovers right now. And I kind of like the looks of them.

Being in an area that has snow awd or 4wd should be a big plus for you. I dont know about subaru's personally but get a break on insurance due to the fact that they claim to build a safer car, every car has awd and usually very good crash data results and lastly they get pretty decent mileage.

Nothing wrong with the Legacy at all, I personally wanted the smaller car, in that color, but they are all build with the same idea around safety and reliability.

Head gaskets are cooked. And tranny is going to give soon as well.

Ford considers the 3.8 head gasket replacement to be a non-repair. Although doable the failure rate is pretty high.
