No.... they apply Caifornia law to everyone. And more than that, they will cancel any auction for any gun ITEM they arbitrarily deem goes with an "assault rifle". With no law to back that up either. They do not follow the law. They over apply it to an item that is any way related to a gun that they deem restricted.

        Example:

I recently hit the "buy it now" on an AR Bolt. Which is a legal part in ANY state. Its not restricted item and not regulated in any state. They canceled the auction a few minutes later, too late to do so. They claimed it violated their policy. However it does not. The seller and I completed the sale. However when I pointed out to eBay that the item was legal and was completely acceptable under their own terms, they sent me back a "canned response" with a list of California Assault Weapons. So then I pointed out to them again that the item was a part, not a part banned even by California, and was completely legal in all states and they just quit responding. So no.. They do not respect laws. They make up thier own laws and apply their own flawed logic. They hire people who make decisions based on a very lacking knowledge of the laws. Then these people make mistakes and make calls on auctions that do not violate their policy nor any law. Routinely they do. And make no effort to correct that either. Nor do they even attempt to correct a mistake they make. They often cancel auctions for perfectly legal and allowable items and suspend accounts and even freeze pay pal accounts for people selling perfectly legal items and items allowed under their own policy. They don't think or research it. They just do it. They make a policy, then do not honor it, nor have enough knowledge to do so.

they are just trying to cover their behinds, they are a company and you are using their services, therefore, they can uphold whatever crazy rules they want, if you dont like them, dont use ebay

            Thanks Mr obvious..

Maybe they could just come out and put in their rules that they are anti gun and just leave it at that? That would be simple.

Their rules allow many things that they come back later and claim are against their rules. Then they cannot seem to find the reason they decided that... BECAUSE THEY DON"T KNOW THE LAWS! So they make mistakes about what their rules actualy allow. You get that part yet? Are you reading or are you just spouting off like a good little communist?

One should remember that they CHARGE for their service. THey are not giving it to you. And they own Pay Pal too. So they charge for that.

One could expect to be able to read the rules and follow them and not then have them make an arbitrary decision that you broke the rules when in fact you did not.

            Got it?
