There's an overfunded highway project *cough-cough Mixing bowl cough-cough* that's being siphoned for cash to pay for the added VSP patrols. The real impact will be more money for those super sweet Dodge Chargers and to pay for the really cool SWAT gear they get to use to serve no-knock warrants.
Sorry, I'm a big supporter of LE but I think things have gotten a bit too militant as of late.

nothing like watching my tax dollars goto giving cops in my state the usage of airplanes.
