I think it was a Columbian Tucano aircraft, and yes, they shot the drug plane down. Good on 'em. I believe that a US aircraft vectored them in.

yeah, the chopper gave them location (unless it was an awacs type thing) but it doesnt seem like it because they were having trouble keeping up... then the T-68 came in and gunned them out of the sky.
