    Boston Paintball Supply Express Automag

Finally was able to buy one of my unicorns.

A Boston Paintball Supply Express Automag. And I have a copy of the original reciept to prove it.

The trigger frame was cut before it was chromed, The body was milled before polish, The trigger is I assume one made at Boston Paintball.
Both the body and rail are original pump milled parts.

    Inside the valve,
Yes it needs a rebuild orings are jelly at this point.

    8 Hole mod,

Some sort of aftermarket on/off top.

    Bored out powertube tip

Ported passage between the reg and he on/off

    And lastly the original reciept
PBWizard Sticker held over it to cover purchasers personal info.

He over paid for the CF barrel, though it was a decent shooter. Lol

But great find. Never knew it was ever out there. Ugly 8 hole mod, but weren't they all? And that on/off top might be a Reactor.

Yea most of the mods on this one seem standard for the time. BPS Express mags are sort of a unknown. Not much info anywhere on them.

Congrats on the unicorn find!!! A few years ago I gathered up this info, but we never had a well documented example.

The on/off is a standard bottom with ANS top.

                        That is not a hole.

That is a sewer pipe. Looks to be pushing 1/4".

And if they carried that hole to the end, yes, absolutely.

5/32 will make a toilet seat out of the bottom of the well.

                        Ask me how I know.

On the other hand, if they didn't carry the hole through, then it's not going to be very productive.

Most mods to classic valves look mean and nasty, and are certainly creative, but ultimately don't do the right sorts of things in the right sorts of places.
