    Tunaball II Preregistration Information

Last year, Jay8541/Cerberus was generous enough to to give away hundreds of dollars of free products to the people who participated at Tunaball. Afterwards, Jay promised that he would do even better next year. Well next year is now and he has kept to his word.

The first 50 people to preregister with TopGun for Tunaball II will get $20 off of thier FIRST case of paint, on Jay.

Yes, you read that correctly. Jay has very graciously donated $1000 to the Tunaball II paint fund. Take advantage of this awesome deal and register as soon as possible.

Again, this deal is available to ONLY the first 50 people, and it is good for only the FIRST case of paint for each preregistered player.

Call Matt @ TopGun Paintball to preregister.
    (732) 928-2810
Make sure you mention the paint discount.

Paint - $60 or $65 TBD on the day of the event
(Prereg paint = -$20 for the first 50)

    Game Info

Chris "Doobie" Dubois and John "Homelandefender" Minarchenko have volunteered to be team captains this year. With the expected turnout, we are planning on splitting the group into two teams and running a mini-big game format for part of the day. We can utilize the two forts on the far end of the TopGun playing fields past the lake.

*Second part of the day, we will break off into smaller teams and hit the speedball and arenaball fields as we did last year.

*We will also be running a pump/pistol/Limited Paint game and possibly a one-on-one Tac-8 pistol challenge.

-----AO/BEO's very own Mongoose is offering a prepaid lunch ticket for anyone who is interested. First come, first serve.-----

    Lodging info for Tunaball II
For those who are coming in from far away and unfamiliar with the area, there are quite a few hotels within a half hours drive from TopGun. Most of them are just off the NJ Turnpike
(exit 8). Exit 7a is the exit for TopGun.

    Here's a few ...
    DAYS INN WRIGHTSTOWN 609-723-6900
    HAMPTON INN EAST WINDSOR 609-426-1600
    HOLIDAY INN EAST WINDSOR 609-448-7000
    DAYS INN EAST WINDSOR 609-448-3200
    BEST WESTERN BORDENTOWN 609-298-8000
    CANDLEWOOD SUITES BORDENTOWN 609-291-1010

If people are flying in they can land at either Newark Airport or Philadelphia. Both are a little less than an hour away.

The post-Tunaball festivities are not yet set in stone. Last year we went to Arthur's Tavern in Hoboken NJ for red meat and booze. Great little place, great food, and good prices.

If we decide to go revisit the whole Hoboken thing again, it would be much easier to fly into Newark airport and stay near by. Some guys stayed at the Howard Johnson at Newark airport. This is right off of exit 14a on the NJ turnpike, minutes from the airport, and literally 15 minutes from me. (Exit 13 Goethals bridge into Staten Island)

    The address for that is

    Howard Johnson Hotel - Newark

This is actually do-able for me! For some, dumb reason...I was thinking this was on the LasVegas/Cali side of the planet...not one State over from me! WOOHOO...PA Turnpike FTW!!!

                        now for the STUPID questions.....

                        is this a day-game or a weekender?

I qickly scanned the website and see that it's FPO and the price...no biggie.

Is there a better map of the field?

Is there all day air if we bring our own gear or does the $5/fill fee still apply?

I work for the Dept of Corrections, here in PA...does the Military/Police discount count for me as well?

The only thing not answered there is about the discount. I will have to find out from Topgun next time I speak with them.
