Are there any places to stay nearby the field that's not going to cost an arm and a leg? Also for the Norcal guys: Given that the cost to fill up on gas is about the same price as a case of paint, do you guys want to try to carpool as many people as conveniently possible and split the cost of gas?Comment

Sorry about the lack of updates, I've been very busy. Everything seems updated, but if I missed out on something, please feel free to let me know.Comment

I know some of us were going to try to rent a car and go down. I'll check with Z-man to see what the current status on that and lodging is.Comment

If you could add this info on the first post so that there is no confusion on price.
Originally posted by smoothiceEach of us will be required to pay $20 for admission. $10 for all day air. And $X of the $100 private party fee.
EX: If 20 people show up
$20 admission + $10 all day air + $5 ($100/20) private party fee = $35
EX: If 30 people show up
$20 admission + $10 all day air + $3.34 ($100/30) private party fee = $33.34Comment

I don't think this has been brought up yet but, what is the parking situation going to be like? If we could rope off a section like we did at SC that would be ideal, but probably not likely. I've only played here once and that was a couple of years ago. From what I remember, there was a parking lot and tables with tarps for shade around it. There was an airball field next to it and you had to walk up to all the fields from the lot. Hopefully those that have played here recently can shed some light on this.
EDIT: Oh yeah, and what time is everyone planning on showing up?Comment

Since I live so close to the park and will be taking the paint and some ez-ups, I will be there really early, like before the gate opens. I was planning on marking some parking space but would really like to know how many cars to expect so I can judge accordingly. I will also get some tables reserved. The way you descriced the parking/field layout is the same now as it was then.Comment

20 or so cars I would say.Comment

I think a section at the top closest to the fields would be good. The least amount of walking we have to do the better.
EDIT:
Yeah, right around there somewhere.Originally posted by smoothiceHow about here?

You got it. I'll try to get that area marked off for us.Originally posted by smoothiceHow about here?

You also have to take into mind that if we are to close to the mass of people movement, then scratches can be made on cars and people looking at your stuff as they walk by. I personally like the area towards the south of the lot, still close but less people movement.Comment
