SINNERS BALL west coast mega meet AND Date Poll

After a lengthy poll, it was decided we will play october 18/19th at premier paintball park in vegas, I will add more information as I find it in this thread, so getready boys, we gonna have some fun

    Premier
Pros- built in a city park, lots of parking, easy access, close to off-strip properties BYOP, good sized, 3 fields, 2 are regulation sized airball, last one is a plywood-type field
Con's- have to share the fields with the walk-ons, Speedball only, lots of questions from the agglets

The Suncoast, the Rampart, and the Red Rock all within 1-8 mi of the field.

it is about 20 mi from the stip... here is the website http://www.lvpp.net/, if you stay at either of the hotels listed above it will take from 2-8 min to get to the field. if you stay near the strip it will take 20-40min to get there with the 40 min having moderate traffic.

The area of town those hotels are in is called summerlin its very upscale.

Nearest food from the field is near all of the three hotels, and only 5 min from the field. there are restraunts. like mimis cafe, PF chang's-chinese, claim jumper and a sushi place, all on the same corner. Fast food isnt far either. as well as a bjs. if you all want to make a short drive there is also Bucca Di peppo. and a few others down lake mead around 6 mi from the field. so really it just comes down to us deciding how much we want to spend and what we want to spend it on. all of those restrants are capable of handling big parties.

    pagin Tom Kaye - AGD

Isn't he in Arizona? Just a hop skip and a jump away for him.

If we get him coming this would be an AMAZING turnout

I'm up for something in October

Nothing like playing ball a few hours from home...

The car will get a nice stretch out on the drive out there as well

I think it is a great Idea!!

I also think that is should be in October.......

        East Coast: Tunaball in May

        West Coast: Sinnersball in October

        Has great potential.

        Here..Here

I think late October would be the best. No matter what, I'm down for it.

As much fun as these are, after driving 5+ hours to the last two meets, I think the Norcal people would appreciate something a little closer to home. Not to say I wouldn't go...just sayin'.

              See I think the opposite...

I actually see this as a great idea since I can take the weekend off and drive off with my girlfriend friday and enjoy time with both her and the guys at the field...

Since Vegas is a town with something for everyone my girlfriend could occupy herself while i am out playing ball.... no grief from her...

I don't think this is going to be the next meet, just something to plan for. I would like a meet somewhere a little North and will be down to drive too.

There is no reason that we can't meet up here, but an event like this will takes months to plan and you want to give everyone interested plenty of time to to make arrangements.

There could even be some more east coast participation since it is Vegas........

It is 6 months from now... this way maybe steelrat can make it again. along with possibly a couple of our other east coast friends.

I think it's a great idea. Especially in the months that will be cool enough to play.

Are there any industry trade shows in Vegas around that time that we'd need to be aware of? Or anything like CES that would make rooms way too expensive?

If we can find a good date, I"m down! And, I am sure my wife would go along kicking and screaming all the way.

Hotel rooms will always be pricey on week-ends, un-less you want to stay out at state line

I'm still up for a Norcal and vegas ball. Just give me the dates so I can clear my calendar for them. If I go then that means rudz and shrub are coming.

Unless we turn this into some paintball convention.

Maybe we could coincide it for next years psp vegas if we want to look out that far?

Sounds like a good time. A weekend in Vegas and paintball, can't beat that. I'd try my hardest to go.

I know of a few other people who will go as well. I would spend the weekend there, even if I had to take the RV inorder to do so.
