Looks like the only thing that is going on in October is the Halloween celebration/party. Columbus Day is the 13th aswell and some people get the day off. Other than those two things October is wide open.

People watching is also one of my favorite pastimes..... and there is plenty of that there.

sigh... you guys suck, you know that? i was planning on letting the dust settle for at least a week from the last one before i started this up

okay, this idea has been being kicked around a bit, myself and enemy are in agreement to make this happen, we will get a paint deal setup for sure, there are lots of questions first and foremost, things like, what kind of ball was planning on being played. and what kind of paint was thought about being shot,

mid to late october is looking to be a tentative timeframe

i want to get more of the AKA comunity involved this time around (im an ao'er first, but AKA is where my heart lies), and if we can get enough people, we can even get a pre-payment plan going and some shirts done for the event,

as for events, all the major conventions are in the beginning of the year, (world of concrete, CES and CONAGG/IFPE) everything else is smallfry by comparison

there are other places to stay besides the hotels on the strip, and a bit of sagely advice the priceline negotiator is your friend

i dunno what else to say at the moment

I don't drink much Since I ussually end up being the designated driver.
I don't smoke, and I don't gamble. But I'll be damned if I'll miss a buffet when I'm in vegas.

will definitly keep you in mine, that heat was the shizz. we are also local to GAP (carson city), and if we get enough ordered, there is a distinct posibility that i can get a pallet of special paint made for the event (custom shell, fill thickness, color and scent)
we will definitly be shopping around for the paint, wont have any specfic details for that for at least a few weeks, if anyone has any special requests, let me know

*edit* and im not angry, i just wanted to give it a little breathing time before i got the ball rolling, and by rudz posting this up, it kinda forced me to start a little earlier than i had planned
and the reason im using so many i's, is because to my knowledge there are 4 vegas AO'ers myself, enemy, miscue (who doesnt play much, if at all anymore) and spacedmonkey (whom i havent seen in awhile) so if you want a local to get this thing rolling, it pretty much leaves me and enemy, who have agreed to make it a reality, if it is capable of becoming one *edt*

I would say for us to choose a date, but that may be best left to the locals.

If GAP gets involved, then who knows, Alex Fraige might show up. His dad does own GAP after all.

I'd be down, just need to get an exact date to save money and get time off.

Smoothice, I can't drink (although I will be able to by the time this rolls around), and I don't gamble or smoke, so maybe we can get a "pure" ( ) group to go out and have a nice dinner. I'm thinking of bringing my girl as well, so we could make a night out for people who aren't the drugs, sex, and alcohol type.

I'll be sure to keep track of this thread.

just for clarification - Those that don't smoke typically don't enjoy being around smoke either.

I don't mind it but my wife is a different story. Her body literally shuts down when in vegas. Puffy eyes, weezy, [edit..whiny], etc, etc.

Last time I was in vegas the place was basically one big ash tray.

Some of you know by then I will also have a 5 month old as well as a 3 year old. So this further complicates things.

It will indeed be a great time and I will do my darndest to make it.
