Guys that was an AMAZING day of play.
It was great to meet some new people as well as hang out with the regular crew.
Oh and Jonathan. I still feel bad. And plan to feel bad for awhile. And I truly hope you believe me when I say I didn't touch a single thing on that marker all day after I chrono'ed in the morning.
Those that didn't stay till the end don't know what I am talking about. But once manny uploads some pics you will all understand...Comment

I will put that in the voting list for the next get together.Originally posted by DEEPSEA
What about the next event being at SC village next time? I am not sure how the setup runs there but I was not impressed with the ref today.
Historically though. SC Village costs more and you play A LOT less if you want to play on the rec fields.
If you want all speedball all day then you can get a lot of games in.Comment

Don't feel too bad, Nick. It really wasn't your fault as I wanted a balls out game and normally my markers don't get that hot by the end of the day so you had no idea.Originally posted by SmoothiceOh and Jonathan. Overall it was a great day to play and I had lots of fun like always

Well if you want I can probably set something up with the local shop here that books private games with sc village all the time. The price will still be the same and we'll have to setup some sort of system to pay them before going to the field but it frees us from handling the money and dealing with the sc village staff, plus if we allow them to mix the shop rats and their own local customers it'll be a nice group outing. They come out with a canopy and drinks and snacks and a tech for those who don't know how to fix guns although they can't do much for us since mags don't come into the shop much.Originally posted by SmoothiceI will put that in the voting list for the next get together.

You talking about "The Paintball Shop" on Mountain? Those guys are cool, and will definitely handle the nitty gritty.Originally posted by d4m4don3Well if you want I can probably set something up with the local shop here that books private games with sc village all the time. However, this being the Automags.org group, "techs, we don't need no stinkin' techs!"Comment

agreed, however if somone was using a gun that was on the more mainstream they can fix it freeing us up to playOriginally posted by BagheeraYou talking about "The Paintball Shop" on Mountain? Those guys are cool, and will definitely handle the nitty gritty.

Sorry now I'm confused (and not meaning to hijack the thread), but does Gene own Mountainview Paintball or The Paintball shop on Mountain? Because when I was just getting back into paintball a few years ago, and called The Paintball Shop asking about Mag parts, the guy on the phone (I think it was the owner) told me "Mags are on their way out." That did irk me, but now they're cool with me. Plus, they're a mile from my house. If there was another shop closer, I'd probably go there too/instead.Originally posted by d4m4don3agreed, however if somone was using a gun that was on the more mainstream they can fix it freeing us up to play

Mountainview paintball in rancho in where me, d4m4don3 and shrub909 are regulars, and when we bring other guys paint to the events, it comes from them, mountainview has always supported us, and will go out of there way to please all the customers, no matter what gun they shoot.
I believe mountainview has some sort of deal with sc village now, and there private games are run excellent, with TWO refs, and plenty of field time, if we have mountainview organize the event the bring free snacks too, lol, and they're a great group to play with , as some of you already knowBEO MAFIA
