We were playing an "iron man" game.
Now here's the part I feel bad about. I did not touch my velocity all day. And after the iron man game there was speculation of my gun being hot. So I asked the ref to go check it. There was no chrono so he just took a few shots. With no chrono he felt the marker did seem to be shooting a bit hot.
So from chrono'ing under the limit in the morning my marker had worked its way up to shooting hot.
I have put a lot of thought into how this could have happened. It seems to be a series of stupid simple things.
1. I left my paint in the car during play. So there's a good chance it expanded.
This expansion may have lead to a tighter paint to bore fit. Which may have increased the velocity of the shots.
Either way I feel bad.
