this is what i think might be my next step... which o-ring and what type of lube-where?

the o-ring around the base of the reg piston. iirc, it's the only one there.

any thick grease. i use high pressure air gun grease. a tub is like 5$ at walmart. don't use regular oil. the grease acts as an extra air seal.

I replaced both o-rings (one on the piston housing and one on the velocity nut) and that fixed it. I realize now looking at those two rings that the piston one is almost blue now. Not exactly normal I guess?

I didn't go to the field so I have no idea what my velocity is at, but I have real good reactivity on the trigger now too.

good. the o-ring on the reg piston is considered a wear item. inconsistent velocity is also a sign that it needs to be changed.

i've been playing here and there quite a bit this year. roughly twice a month. been doing some travelling and lots of pump play. playinmg this sunday and next saturday at orbital...the place where we had that team practice before cup. i'm on a quasi scenario team. bunch of good guys and lots of fun to hang and play ball with. you'd fit right in.

that price was for the pump group. regular price is 10$ field fee, and i think 5$ all day air, don't remember that for sure though.

not that i know of, but will ask around. there is surrounding property that may be for sale, which could cause problems for the field seeing as florida is becoming one large patch of concrete w/ yuppies hovels on it.
