went to showdown on a lark yesterday and had a blast as usual.
i was bored and decided to surf the net for anyone open, first place i looked was thier site and i was out the door in under 10 minutes.

decent turnout for a weekday and holiday, maybe 15-20 people. good games overall as usual.

for anyone interested, the 25th of this month at showdown is a go for my part. still awaiting word from friends as to whether or not they will also attend, but i'm there regardless.

news from showdown:
the tampa bay raptors are holding tryouts on selected sundays. call and ask susanlyn for particulars.

the first saturday of every month will be swap meet day. for a 2$ fee you can set up a table and try to sell off your used and unwanted paintball gear.

february 14th will be the "valentines day massacre" 5 man tourney. nppl rules, no word on entry fee yet, limited to the first 8 teams. i'm most likely going to ref or do whatever i can to help out.

in other news....tommorrow night or sunday i should have more info on the paintball experience charity benefit 5 man tourney to be held on march 27th. i'm waiting for the owners, dave and george, to hammer a couple things out and to pass it along to me.
TheDuelist has expressed and interest in playing this as well as a gentlemen with connections to orbital reign that i have spoken too. no confirmations yet. i'll be working that one as well.

also, i'm going to paintball experience on the 10th if anyone wants to meet up.

got a reply about the 25th at showdown from a friend of a friend...a tampa policeman is going to bring a few friends. he is an alternate on orbital riegn, shoots and impy and as mag.

You know whats really sad about the pic of me holding the two EMags (yes I know the door I just opened). My brother sold his red acid wash in that picture and the guy parted the thing out. I guess to each his own but man...one of 16. That hurt.
