Lee- Thats what we call ourselves at Showdown. Its the name we chose when we thought we were going to actually play as a team. Our motto is "You pick the field. We'll bring the magic." Hehe, pretty cheesy but catchy at the same time. Did you hear good or bad? I'd like to know what has been said.

nothing bad. i heard that the warlocks would be reffing the tourney. i didn't put two and two together until last post. i suck at math.

showdown was good today as always. played it all as usual. bunch of kids tourney practicing. took em to school...sometimes anyway lol.
not a ton of people. like 50-60, but nice. did some woodsball with that little guy "kick". he rocks. awesome player. 4 foot nothing tall, can't see him coming.

WOw, long time no posts, for me. Whats up Lee? I am looking foward to finally playing this weekend. So how does the new Airball look over there at pbex? I haven't called ryan yet, but i will do that today, so i can see if he can get out there. Oh yeah, do you happen to have any pics of the new feld? I guess i will catch you later.

i'll be there bright and early, going to make it a play day and take a break from reffing. we had a ymca group this morning and a church group this afternoon. i havn't yelled "goggles on now!" so many times in years!

Where to play..

I'm coming to Florida, Sanford area, I guess its close to Orlando. I want to play when I come down take out some Disney frustrations after being there for three days. I'll be down the first part of April.

Sanford....that's our neck of the woods (you'll be about 15 miles NE of downtown Orlando).

Supposedly Extreme Rage is going to have a new field opening up here in Sanford real soon, but I can't seem to confirm that.

Considering I haven't touched a marker since World Cup.....

Jon!!!, How the hell ar eyou doin? I haven't seen nor heard form you since the cup. Do you think you will be able to make it out to Pbex, this weekend? I haven't played in so long, i cant wait to get rid of the twitch i have developed. Anyway glad your still around let me know if you can make it out this weekend.

Lee: So how does the airball field play, is it set up well, how many props, and other questions along those lines. Also, i have pretty much designed the schedule for the whole tourney. I want to run it by Dave and you on Sat, but i need to know a few things. Are we going to be running Both the speedball, and the ariball(hopefully), and is it looking like there will be 20 teams? Let me know, so i can change things accordingly. I am going to get the 27 off so i will be there all day. And i think HEather is going to be there to help as well. Right now i have the schedule set up on two fields, so hopefully that is how it is going to run, however it would be an easy fix otherwise.

They are holding a benefit tournament, that is to be held on the 27th of March. It's a 5-man tourney, and i think it is $250 to enter. It is capped at 20 teams, so register ASAP. There is more info on the Web site, also some of my info could be wrong so double check it there.

this sucks because the f-series is going to be played that day.to bad they cant move it to sunday.

cool zippy. one field only so plan accordingly as the speedball is moved outside the netting and the airball is in the netting now. i told dave a few weeks ago that there was no way we could do 30 teams in one day on one field. as it is 20 will be hard and we'll have to strict to a tight schedule and really motivate teams.
i havn't played it yet as i was helping at showdown with a tourney last saturday, but i'm playing this week at pbex and sunday at showdown as well.
and no, i don't think we'll get 20 teams, but plan for it just in case. thanks for all the work and effort man.

i saw ron yesterday and his daughter is back in the hospital, but he's determined that she's going to win out.

the field 19 pieces, looks real nice. sits well in that amount of space. new start points too-pvc and screening.
we'll chat more saturday.

truss: the florida series is that day? sucks to be us i'm thinking. we didn't realize that, guess we should plan better next time. when and where do you scrimmage? would you be willing to do one at showdown sometime like in the next month or so? i'd like to do it on a day the raptors are there so we can have some consitent action. too many people sit around at the practice field and it's like you have to pull teeth to get them to play.
