I likle the idea of an Ao meet in Goergia I missed the last one and don't want to miss this one. I vouch for Georgia paintball 2.0. My friends and I go there a lot its a nice place, that made the second feild and combined the 2 with a line down the middle. Im really looking foward to this. Also anywhere else would be fine to as long as its not very far away from atlanta or near any state lines. My kitten says: uhjdehbgey155ru7i9oijdr45. And that was from the bottom of his tiny little heart!Comment

Any weekend is good for me. However, with that said, Labor Day Weekend might be a good date unless fellow AOers have already made plans

What kind of event do you want have? If you want all tourney play. Then I would vote for GA paintball2.0. John is a great guy.
If you wanted to have an event that would attract all types of Automags owners, somewhere like Regulators Outpost would be best. They have it all tourney, woods ball, and scenario. It is also large enough to handle camping and growth of the event if you wanted to make it an annual thing.
Just my two cents. Why does a scenario player need a high-end gun? Because sometimes it's 7 on 70.

I think we should have it at Ga Paintball 2.0 also. I like hyperball more, and it is close to my house.
But serioulsy, how many people here prefer woodsball over speedball, hyperball etc?Comment

I prefer georgia paintball because its kind of in the middle of dalton and got ballz or fat city or whatever.
I like hyperball but I also love sup' airComment

I too prefer GA Paintball 2.0. Definately have good amount of space and they'd be willing to make a deal I believe.Silver ULE X Valved Mag

I know John very well, and I am sure that he would make a deal. It would be a great spot.
But like I said in an earlier post. It all depends on what type of AO day you wanted to have. If you wanted to do something that would appeal to all AO members, and also wanted to make a it a party all night, kind of gig. Then GA paintball 2 would not be the best choice.
I would assume that you want AO member from the surrounding states to come, right? A hotel in the area of Roswell will be around a $100 a night. A hotel in Dalton would cost you about $40 to 60 a night. I have stayed in most of the hotels in the area and they are all really nice. If there were people that wanted to camp for free, that would be available to them. When I talked to the guy that does the SC meet, he told me that he has a larger out of state turn out than locals.
To do this right we need to ask ourselves a few questions:
How long do we want the meet last? I.E. a day VS a weekend
Would you want to party after a day of play?
Do we want to try to get out of towners to come to the meet?
Would we want a band come out and play at the meet?
If we wanted to a one-day tourney only kind of meet, then Ga paintball 2 is the best place.
If you wanted to do a larger and longer then one-day type meet, that included all AO members. Then Regulators outpost would be the best.
Lets decide how big we want this to be and that will tell you which place to use. Ether one would be great that is for sure. Why does a scenario player need a high-end gun? Because sometimes it's 7 on 70.

Why don't we start out with a one day, test AOGA day, and see how that turns out? Then, based on its success, start planning another AOGA day in the spring.David M. Jones

I agree with Jonesie. Giving it a test first be great, and a bigger one in the spring give more people time to plan and save, since other AO events are in the fall, like SC AO Day.Silver ULE X Valved Mag
