Well that makes sence. I would agree to that. Ok so what are the dates going to be I think that some time in October would be great. September is still pretty hot.
Why does a scenario player need a high-end gun? Because sometimes it's 7 on 70.

I dunno if SC AO is gonna happen Tigerman, but I think Jonesie has a good idea there. That way we can see if we might wanna change fields before we have the big thing?
Also odnt make it too late in the spring because remember, we gotta beat the heat

Well phil was talking about moving it to some stupid scenario game or something up in MD or something crazy I dunno here, I quote:
Kevmaster: Rumor has it there is a huge scenario game AGD is pushing that is the same weekend in MD....maybe will know more later, but it seems we may be doing that as "AOSC" instead of the REAL AOSc...although thats all hearsay
Phil: Its not all rumor Kev. There is some truth to it. A good bit actualy but its all less than two weeks old and with me on vacation and then IAO its not all jelled. Actualy I am working on something and at Toms request. And there may be some changes. As you know this was AO South East more than anything even though the first one was in SC and I had envisioned one day it would move around some. I did not realy expect it to begin this quickly but it may. I also envisoned one at Bob Sandifers area in Dalton and also then maybe Paintball Charleston as well. Although this would be news to them I had planned on talking about it with them and seeing how we could rotate it around the SE. And now this thing up in DC comes around this year and so it is now on top of the list this year for AO SE event. Kind of unexpected but still technicaly in the SE so its very likely it will move there this year at this point in time. So just to let you know we were starting to look at anywhere in the SE for this annual event. And so there MAY be some big changes in this early plan. I am working on those contacts and all this next coming week. I need to talk with Rob Hoover and then Tom again after I talk to the organizers of that event. But with everyone at IAO its difficult to do much. I expect to tell you more details in a few weeks. I also do not want to do much talking about it until after AO NJ is over.
Me: I'm not sure if that is such a great idea. Lots of people (like me for instance ) could make it to Gold Dragon with little persuasion to their parents. Going to MD or DC or whatever is a diffrent story however. It would be hell to try to get my parents to take me up there or even get a ride. On a side note I think AO GA was actually getting ready to have a small meet, maybe it could be magnified? http://www.automags.org/forums/show...&threadid=85299
SpongeBobSquarePants: I agree with you person, I think SC is the best. It just a state or at most two away from everyone.
paint magnet: The guy at Gold Dragon seems to think you're having it there... not only does he still have the sign up from last year but when I mentioned it to him he said he thought they were having it this year on the 22nd and that they were even building/expanding more fields for it.
Kevmaster: personman, not to diss you, but although it may be harder for you---its easier for a lotta people in VA, MD, DC, NJ, PA, etc..... pick a place...its hard for some easy for others. me, personally? Id like it better at gold dragon just beucase less riff raff will be there to piss me off...however i will go anywhere
Me: Yea, except its AO SE... What happened to flordia, GA, Alabaamba, SC, and TN? are they not in the SE?
Its not really SCAO or South East AO if its in Maryland, now is it? Therefore, IMO its not gonna happen if its up in MD.

That would be great if it could be at GAPB but about any weekend would be great for me.

                TigerMan:
                I agree with Jonesie...
                Aiki:
Well that makes sence. I would agree to that....
                personman:
... but I think Jonesie has a good idea there.
You like me! You really like me!

Just kiddin. It does make the most sense to have a test run this fall, and then one in say...late March or early April - before the southern heat sets in.

Let's see where Sinistarr and the Dalton crew go with their idea and go from there. I think this meet should be a product of those wishing to attend, guided mostly by field that hosts it after all, they will be doing a bulk of the work.

                  IDEA

I Ref at Paintball Atlanta- 10 fields, 6 woods, 1 mounds, 1 hyperball, 1speedball, and 1 new airball field.
                  paintball-atlanta.com
and for idea 2... on oct 4&5 there is a wayne dollack "war of the worlds"game at Wildfire. a 24-game would be perfect for all of us to get together.

Dude, I'm sorry, but paintball atlanta sucks. Its big and all but I dont like the place one bit. 107 a case is a bit steep if you ask me, not to mention the field is flooded with newbs and trash talkers..
Ah well no fields perfect I guess?
Ive never been to the outdoor wildfire field, but I diddnt like the indoor at all.. I guess im picky?

the only reason it sucks is because the prices? goto the store on wendsday and get a case 4 $50.

                      noods? go on sunday.

Honestly i worked at PBATL for about a year and ahalf maybe 2 years, and i am so sick of the place. I cant stand woodsball and they rarely play speedball unless at end of day. I think GAPB is much beter, the prices are better and all there is to play is speedball so thats good.

ohh yeah every sunday is BYOP all u have to do is pay a 20 dollar field fee. So that would really make it cheaper to play.

It's $30 field fee (including all day air) for Sunday. Just thought I'd clarify. It's $20 however if you have a field pass. Also, a case of Big Ball on Sunday at Gapb2.0 is $45. So it run you $75+tax to play all day Sunday really (unless a case won't last you a day).
