I talked with one of the guys at SCP and they are fine with us BBQing if we want to. The speed limit is 275, they take any color paint AND if we get enough people (I think 20+) they will negotiate a discount for us.

Zman Like i said somewheres my crew "should" be 7 people. They are set for the 20th. As far as discounts what are we talkin abut here Zman? Im guessing admission? or air fills?

In anycase, as far as what class us AOers will play in, what should we choose? Obviously not beginers.. But what class? imtermediate or advanced? Should we all go as intermediate, and get a consensus on the feild? That way if some of us are up to it, they can go up to advanced. Ive been playin 6 years, but am hesitant to call myself advanced, out of modesty or uncertainty I guess.

As far as some of the older folks needing that extra day to recoup I feel ya. If in fact Bay area AO day II does happen on Sunday, i hope yer willing to take one for the team and play anyway. But seriously, if does seem like your body's gonna pay for it Monday, i suggest ya pace yerself and sit out a couple of games.

I I suspect the discounts pertain to admission prices but I will confirm that if we can lock in 20+.

As for what level intermediate seems the most prudent. I am sure there will be some people who would do just fine in advanced but we can always move up if we find that there is no challenge.

Yes they do allow scubas but heck for $12 you get all day air up to 4500psi. I ain't bringing my scuba when you have a deal like that.

Personally I would much rather play advanced. In intermediate you cant bunker anyone and the people really are not that great. I think Phil will agree with me on this one.

Guys, you can play in advanced so everyone can play together. I had NEVER played speedball before. NEVER. I was nervous prior to playing and was planning on playing with the intermediates. covadsucks convinced me to play advanced. I did fine. Not the best player out there, but I was fine. You guys will be also.

advanced is fine for me then. I play with some of the local teams, and get beat on now and then.
