Bay Area AO Day 2....the vote continues...

i would definately be more comfortable in intermediate, but i can sack up and go for advanced. ive only been playing for about 1.5 years, but i usually am one of the top players on friday night games there. also, has anyone here played against a team made up of san jose cops? i think they were called sjpd allstars. they didnt seem all that great when i played em, just wanted to see how they stack up. this is lookin more and more like a saturday thing. my highly unofficial count puts it at 6-2 for saturday.

Im gonna get my butt handed to me in advanced. I've been out of the sport for 5 years, and last weekend taught me that im a bit out of shape. I'll give it a whirl, but its gonna be real ugly. I mean REAL ugly.

I'd go intermediate, but I think I'd be a little lonely over there.

Whoa whoa whoa wait a minute Zman, the vote says Sunday 20th. I thought that was the plan, according to the poll anyway. I suggest we take into consideration the folks that voted for the 20th.

As far as the poll will close, Ive kinda "set" a date in a different post. I suggested we keep the poll open till Monday July 14t. Thats a minimum of 5 days to prepare for the 19th and 6 days for the 20th.

In anycase wev still got about a week to vote. So come on yall... KEEP VOTIN!

I think you guys are placing too much faith in the poll. You have 9 votes, but people are talking about changing their votes.

Close the poll, and make a thread you can update. Put down real names with what day they prefer. That way you get an actual headcount. Right now you have a bunch of maybes depending on what day. Update when you have confimations from specific players.

Something like:

Sat 19th: votes 4

AO_Joe
AO_Bob +1
AO_Steve

Sun 20th: votes 6

AO_Ralph
AO_Ed +3
AO_Juan

Then you can see what day will actually get the most turnout.

That would be my suggestion.

It might be better to play on Saturday the 19th because there's a paintball company that will be having tryouts for their factory team on Sunday the 20th at SCP. I think they might be renting out one or two fields for themselves. Here's the link: Factory Team Tryouts!!

Z-man, here is the list of all the Northern Cal AOers. If i missed anyone, just add them in. Since you are the Chapter President of AO2, you need to PM each member and ask them which day is best for them. Blennidae did this when he set up AO 1 and unfortunately you have to do it too.
