AO NorCal vs. SoCal Interest...

I say we get this going after the start of the year. How does January work out with everyone? Also should we do it up North or down South first? Let's get the ball rolling cause it sounds fun.

I am willing to go south first. There are lots of good fields in SoCal I can think of and even more I am sure I don't know about. Perhaps (big perhpas) we can get a group rate if enough of us NorCal guys wanna go.

Hey there is a field in slo. I go to college(cal poly) here and there is an air ball field that will most likely be set up in NOV. or i can have it set up any time, if enough people are interested. There are also 2 hyper ball fields here. Just let me know im down to play and have tons of people to do it also. Rooms and accomidations can easily be arranged. The fields will either be here in SLO for the air ball or the hyper ball in paso robles which is 15 mins from slo. The air ball is owned by a local store with that can provide field paint and all the essentials for play at the field, air to 4500, and good refs. All it takes is commitment and it could be set up. *I know for a fact ARMY can get this up and running, he does some work for the store every now and then*

This is what we were looking for! If have some time, I would love it if you can fill mein on the field, loaction costs, days of operation and all that good stuff. I am goign to start laying out this MEGA AO Day (with anyone who would like to help o course).

That is a tough one. I would like to get a big turnout on this deal and once we confirm that the field CAN 100% SURE be available if we give a few month's notice we can better deal with setting a date.

Still sometime during Chirstmas vacaton could be good (before any rain comes) but we have to see if most CA guys are leaving during Chistmas vaction or not.

If the December time is a no no then perhpas sometime in January, though we start risking rain if we get much later.

Other things that we may want to look into (assume the field is going to work) is group rate hotels. heck we could say we are persepctive students and bum a dorm room at Cal Poly!

Anyhow this is a big break and I hope it works out.

I'm up for going to SLO...However, the only issue for me is work. I'm expecting after the holiday season, my job will start to ask us to start working weekends as we're closing near the date of our project's completion. But I'll keep my eye out on this thread and hopefully I can plan ahead if we can decide on a date sometime soon.
