AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
Just a little get together prolly Saturday Night, if we ever get it planned out. We tried this the last Big Game, but it never happened.
1300th post...YAY!!!

So whats you favorite joint for food in Racine? Being on the Washington drag helps too.
Any good place for PIE?
Actually a bakery would be better on the gut rot Sunday morning over the greazy McDonalds routine.
There is an O&H Danish bakery over on Lathrop and Durand Ave.(Hwy 11) They make the most awesome kringle. There isn't really much on the 20 strip for food besides the Charcoal Grill. Everything else is mainly located by the mall, on Hwy 31 and Durand Ave. *Those are Applebee's, Olive Garden (My Favorite) and Lone Star (a steakhouse)
Then there are just about everything else you can imagine within the city itself. There are like 20 different Italian resturants that I know of and then theres the Chinese joint and the Chancery downtown.

Bakery sounds like a plan. In the spring we descended on the Grill, not bad, have had better. We also went to some Mexican place near the theatre off of 20.
So theres that many Italian places and you pick Olive Garden? We have Olive Garden in MN too, its good and all, but isn't there any old school Italian thats overflow from Chi town Italian. Like a mean chicken marsala or some chicken breast with proscuitto and parmesean. Just looking for some local only flavor. Like all the waitstaff are older women wearing the traditional all black dress. Prego prego gratzie.
There is Derango's on 20, its in West Racine. Then there is a Infusino's over on Rapids and 31, black dress waitresses, young and old.

Hehe, once you've had pizza in Italy, everything else is a let down. Going to an old school Italian restaurant and ording pizza is like going to Bakers Square and NOT having PIE.
I want antipasti, secundi and primi baby. Keep it comin mama. I'm not a big fan of raw tomatoes, but in Italy they were all so fresh and sweet, it was like a whole different fruit from what we get in the midwest by shipped from outside and even localy grown.
Man I miss Florence.

Bahhh the city... I recommend the Brat Stop, especially if you are of legal, alcoholic consuming age - right off 94.
I'm not under the alkafluence of inkahol that some thinkle peep I am. It's just the drunker I sit here the longer I get...
