AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
Good buyers/sellers/traders: Rudy6732, B.C, automag88, candjpaintball, irbodden, jinxst, xtremexnyc, Rpm07, Idyhead, iownamag, Darklord, Strtrcr069, snoogans, Lee, pballguy17...too many to list
OMG!!!!!!!!!! This is practically in my backyard! I got to the school that is on the same piece of land as the field. Count me the frig in! Add me to the list of attendee's. Can't wait to see you all there.
It's a no-go for me. With my finances and PTO (Personal Time Off) being as bad off as they are right now, there's no way, short of me winning Powerball, that I can be there.
There are three kinds of people in the world: Those who can count, and those who can't.
With understanding comes understanding.
If the saying is true that we are what we eat, aren't we all just cannibals?

"sammo will be there with the "ehh i think its gonan work" flame matrix" ;)
I might go, but someone made a good point about prepaying... bad weather (we are in NE after all), busy or out of town with business or something else, paintball gun problems, or such and I'm out that $$ cause those could all be reasons I can't make it and we're only saving $5 prepaying. I doubt if I show up and pay at the day of play that the folks at CCPB are gonna yell at me and tell me to leave for not prepaying.
I'll play it by ear and just pay at the time if I go if that's cool with you guys, I totally appreciate you arranging this joey d (or susan) but I just really won't know till closer the time if I can really make it (I travel 3 weeks out of the month sometimes on business). If CCPB wants prepays and people financially committing so early w/o knowing the weather, ask them to offer a perk like $15F+A prepay and $65 cases, not like we're not all going to blaze through a case or more each and we won't be out as much cash if it pours. They're going to be making mad cash of us looney paintchuckers and myself and alot of others would do that prepay deal if it was $15 and the prepay deadline was Sept 7th or so.
And I just got to figure this out... are you called joey AND susan from some inside joke or are we talking two different people using the same online handle? lol, help me out here.
being as I was in a slight drunken stoopor when i replied to that post.. i didnt read it all.
CCPB doesnt want the prereg. as a matter of fact, they done require it. I wanted to do this as an insurance that those who say they are going to show up, are going to show up. I would rather not have gone through the planning and buying drinks for people and only have a few people show up.
either way.. no biggie on the pre-reg.
I am however thinking over in my head AO NE V, which will be in the spring, that way, there is a chance that Jon and Tom can attend
Give CCPB a call, tell them you'll do a prepay directly to them for the field and air and guarantee them that money supplied to them a week before the event (rain or shine, show or not they get that money for sure) but only if they give use that rate of $15. They know if they get 20-30 of us we'll be buying tons of paint and making mad cash for sure (if we already paid the field and air we WILL show for $65 cases and buy at least one each) so if it rains and unplayable they still make $300 if 20 prepay and $450 if 30 show. So they will also have a good estimate on how many will be showing so they can plan accordingly. Fields love being able to do that so they might agree. Otherwise tell them you are not sure how many will show.
