NorCal vs. SoCal Date Poll

The field(zero tolerance) is ready and willing to hold this event we just need names and an idea on how many people will play so I or my paint dealer can bring field paint.

Just to inform people in case they missed anything there are going to be 3 fields of boards and hyperball material. We will have all day air up to 3000psi and field paint for those who want it available, facilities(bathroom) available and we will hopefully have a bbq running. I will try to get the pics of the fields up this weds or thurs. Everyone who wants to play get a hold of zman or me or post in his thread. We are working on getting our air ball field set up so hopefully we can have it by the big game.

Email or other method you wish to be contacted (phone, AIM, etc) This makes it easier for me to contact you all as AO does not have a mass PM mode.

How likely you are to come in January. (Obviously we need a final date but at least I can start a database of people interested so that I can msg you all.) Include how many people would be coming please.

Will you be able to bring anything? Scuba tank / food or perhaps a BBQ deal / water or other stuff. There is NO obligation to do this but it helps plan out what to expect. I would like to buy up some Tri-Tip and make tasty sandwiches if we can and I will bring a big old pallet of water.

You want to buy paint from the field or not? If so what kind and how much? There will be a cutoff date on the ordering for their sake probably 2 weeks before hand.

I am happy to continue leading this meet but I am more than happy to take suggestions and / or help with the organizing. The big thing is to compile a list of who in CA wants me to be emailing them with updates and info regarding this meet. Just email me and I will get you on the list.

Lastly this could be a 2 day even if people wanted to make it one. I won't try and force it but if there was a lot of interest in it like ZAust mentioned below we could go for a group rate at the hotels...

Again, This Poll is a nice thing but we WILL have to decide on a date fairly soon so put in your vote and lets mark it down. I will do my best to stay on top of this. Comments? Suggestions? Omissions? Curses?

wow these prices are cheap! i vote for the weekend of the 17th. martin luther king day is that monday(the 19th), so we could party into sunday night and then head back the next day. it seems like the best scenario for all.

It would seem intelligent to make another poll with the same dates as this one but have them be when you cant go and also an option where the date of going is not an issue. My reason is so you cant subract the number of people that cant go from the number of people that can go and then add on the people who date is not an issue for and you get the best possible date for the largest amount of the people. Or my idea is wrong or too complicated im tired and not really thinking so just let me know if im crazy.
