Typical LPB - he can't walk or talk, has a 104 degree fever but he has to post on AO or the day is not complete. PM the little booger and tell him to shape up by Saturday.

I threw up boogers. Ewwwww. And almost all I can eat is chicken noodle soup, which I like, but not when the rest of the family is having the best chicken ever. I litterly slept all day, I'm lucky I don't have School for a month

Hey guys, just got 2 cases of Big Ball (mistake #1) from Stockton ACE. Get home and look at them, and one has balls that are horribly dimpled. Do you think they would let me trade up for a case of blaze, considering the condition? Anyone else having this problem with Big Ball? The last few times I have tried it, it sucks.

BTW does anyone know what time ACE opens?

Hmm, we have never had a problem with big ball before. I'm sure they would let you trade for at least another case of big ball if you show it to them.

I can already tell it would hook all over the place. there are 1-3 large dimples on every ball. I suspect its a very old case. Thats another 2 hours out of my life

So you think they wont give me any crap? Do you know what time they open?

I have found the guys at Ace pretty easy to deal with - remember they are part of an Ace Hardware store, not just a little paintball outfit. I am used to seeing major seams on bigball, it ain't the roundest thing out there - but dimples would be new. I think they will treat you right.

Don't neglect their other paint - they are still way cheap on higher grades like blaze, midnight, inferno, etc..

I switched to Draxxus stuff after getting burned by some bad big ball, thought Id give it another try. I did, and thats the end of that experiment. I just wish It didnt cost me 4 hours in travel time Brian, what time do they open?

I go to ace quite a bit, and the people there are very easy to work with. A school friend of mine workds there too. Just show them your reciept and the condition of the paintballs, Then inform them about your disappointment. They should replace the case with a better batch, and maybe if your lucky you could get something better instead for no extra charge.

That must have been a pretty old batch, or suffered temperature warp-age since big ball is pretty strong stuff.


Although Ace has great service and a selection, Predator Paintball (Like 100 feet from Ace) is WAY cheaper on paint. Inferno (my favorite paint)over there is $52 bucks, instead of I think $65 at Ace.

I think inferno is 45 at ACE.

I am willing to make a paint run, with the caveat that we are marginal for Saturday until LPB stops throwing up. If you have a fallback plan and can handle us being a late scratch, I will plan on getting ya paint from Ace Stockton.
