Any plans for another AO NE being formulated?

I figured that if there's gonna be another AO NE, we might want to start discussing it now. We'll need a date, time, and place to hold the event, as well as plan the day out.

Here's my suggestions for the event: 1st Saturday of May (pending a check for conflicts with other events) at Cape Cod Paintball (pending approval with the owners/operators), when they open. A random 3 person tournament, a Top Gun competition, and regular games to fill the day up, and maybe a group dinner afterwards.

Any other suggestions are welcome, and hopefully we can get an event together that has a good turnout with good weather.

That sounds cool and I'd be up for an early-May meet... But does anyone want another winter/indoor AO NE meet?? Maybe we can get PNL Taunton to not clean the airball fields until we leave this time.... =)

make it closer to me.... i want to go but you guys are too north make it in CT then i can make it but mass is to far.

That'd bring it too close to Shatnerball (assuming it's at the same time of year). If we get enough people at this one, maybe we can do one later on in the year (September or October)

Hey, I'd love to have it in CT (not sure WHERE in CT, though), but many of the AO people in the area live in Mass, so it's closer to more people to have it there.

joey d is currently(or at least was) working on the next big AO-NE day. In the last AO-NE day "recap" thread, Jon said that he and Tom might be able to fly out to play so Joe is trying to work a day out that won't conflict with national tournaments that Tom and the crew might be attending. The plan(from what I remember) is to have it sometime in March(weather permitting) at Camp Paintball in Kingston, MA(which will hopefully have 2-4 Sup'Air fields to play on by then). If it's not at Camp I'm sure it will be at Cape Cod again, which is fine in my opinon but if Camp has Sup'Air by then, it'll be much, much cheaper than Cape(cases are normally $55 for PMI Premium or Big Ball, admission is $10 and all day air is also $10). Anyway. I'm sure Joe would love some input from us all so send him a PM.

Edit: If Tom gives us a tentative yes, there will be a pre-registration fee. Period.

Cool, I had no idea that it was already in the works. Just out of curiosity, where in Mass is Kingston?

Right here. Camp Paintball is about 5 minutes down the road after you get off at Exit 10. It's a little confusing to find the first time but its a great spot.

dont worry bill.... you'll be given another chance to duck with the rest of the spectators during the topgun when i'm out there

now just rememeber all when planing these sat is the best day of the week for these.... as it lets those who r travelin a ways to get there on fri nite and crash... and then crash sat nite and go home on sunday..... that and with my new job i only got tues n sat off.... and i made sure i had saturdays off partly for our AO dayz =)


as for where we have it... it dont matter to me.... MA CT at most it means i need to get up 1 hour eariler for it....

As long as it isn't too far (within 2-3 hours), it doesn't matter for me either.
